Non Sterile Compounding add
At Magnolia Pharmacy, we offer non sterile compounding. Compounding is the creation of a medication. By adjusting the dose, flavor, form, or combination of medications, we can better meet the patient's needs or help improve compliance by changing the route of delivery to avoid adverse side effects. Have more questions about compounding? Reach out to us or check out our compounding information below to learn more about specific health conditions we compound for.
Functional Medicine Consultation add
At Magnolia Pharmacy, we take it a step further to help you get to your healthiest self. We offer functional medicine consultations. Functional medicine is a branch of health care that focuses on identifying and treating the root cause of a disease, not just its symptoms. By looking at lifestyle, diet, an extensive medical history, and environment, we investigate what is causing your current symptoms and offer multiple modalities to help you achieve and maintain good health and longevity. Schedule a consultation with us today!
Functional Testing add
Functional testing is a non-traditional test that involves examining a person’s stool, saliva, urine, or blood to assess various health markers to gain a deeper understanding of their health and the root cause of disease. We offer a wide array of tests for our patients. Below are the most popular tests we offer:
ZRT
ZRT is the recognized leader in at-home saliva and dried blood spot collection methods for hormone and wellness testing. We are proud to offer their hormone testing that assesses gonadal, adrenal, and thyroid hormones.
DUTCH
The DUTCH test is used to assess hormonal balance through dried urine samples, which offers a detailed profile of metabolites in the body. It looks at hormone metabolism and OATs, which provide insight into nutritional deficiencies, oxidative stress, gut dysbiosis, melatonin, neuroinflammation and more.
GI MAP
The GI MAP test is designed for those experiencing digestive issues. This test analyzes stool samples to equip healthcare providers with specific information that can be used to formulate treatment options.
KBMO
The KBMO test is ideal for those who deal with suspected food intolerances or sensitivities. This test provides detailed results that can help us craft a diet plan that works best for you.
Functional Blood Lab Review & Supplement Recommendation add
Traditional lab ranges may not be optimal or functional because they are often created using an unhealthy population. Functional lab ranges are much narrower and linked to better overall health. At Magnolia Pharmacy, we have the Lab Essential Supplement Program. We run a functional lab review using optimal values and classify what health systems you need to support because you may not know what everything on the CBC or CMP panel your provider ran means or what you need to do to improve your values. We are here to help. We can make supplement recommendations to improve your health and longevity based on your most recent lab work.

Drive-Thru and Delivery add
We have a convenient drive-thru if you are sick or aren’t able to come in. Just remember we often have a line at the drive-thru and can only help one car at a time. But inside, we can help numerous people and probably get you out quicker. If you are using the drive-thru and waiting in line, feel free to call us so we can get your medications ready while you are waiting. We also offer free local delivery for those times you just can’t make it to the pharmacy.
Medication Therapy Management add
When you get your prescriptions filled, the pharmacist checks for drug interactions and allergies. But, if you are wondering if a symptom you are having is a side effect of one of your medications, if a supplement you want to take interacts with your current medication, or if you don’t get all of your medications filled at one pharmacy, schedule a medication consultation. The insurance companies call it medication therapy management, or MTM, and oftentimes will pay for this service. If you're interested in medication therapy management, schedule an appointment today.
Nutrient Depletion add
At Magnolia Pharmacy, we want you to be your healthiest. That includes making you aware if your prescribed medications could be robbing you of the nutrients you need. Medication induced nutrient depletion is when medications even over the counter change physiology in a way that results in nutrient deficiencies over time. These nutrient deficiencies could cause a bothersome side effect, possibly leading to another prescribed medication or an adverse event like heart failure, as is the case with statin medications.
Statins are medications used to treat high cholesterol and are one of the most widely prescribed medications in America. But they deplete CoQ10, a powerful antioxidant made by your body and stored in the mitochondria of your cells. Levels already decline with age but adding a statin medication can further decrease CoQ10 leading to heart failure, muscle pain and weakness (a reported side effect of statin medications called rhabdomyolysis), irritability, mood swings, depression and impotence. Another example of nutrient depletion is beta blockers, a class often prescribed for high blood pressure depletes melatonin, the hormone that helps control your sleep cycle. Want to learn more? Schedule a nutrient depletion consultation where we will review your medications to check for nutrient depletion and then recommend further testing or supplements to counteract these effects.
