What is nutrient depletion?

While prescriptions can be incredibly beneficial and lifesaving, there is a downside. Many of the common prescriptions in the U.S. have been found to deplete nutrients, especially when taken regularly.

These vitamins and minerals are essential for many metabolic processes. This can unfortunately lead to further side effects. For example, beta blockers deplete melatonin. Have you noticed that you don’t sleep as well after starting your blood pressure medicine (metoprolol, propranolol, carvedilol)?

While that might sound scary, don’t worry, there are ways to reduce this.

Ways to Help: Supplements

There are many different supplements you can take to counteract the effects and even out your vitamin and mineral levels. Taking your medication is important, but so is your nutrients!

Coming Soon
